Siegfried Advisory is seeking a Director of Tax Advisory Services to lead and grow our Tax Advisory Services (TAS) practice. Reporting directly to the CEO and serving as a member of the Siegfried Advisory Leadership Team, this role offers a unique opportunity to shape the future of a growing firm while mentoring a talented team of tax professionals and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

As the leader of the TAS practice, you will drive client service excellence, develop future leaders, oversee practice performance, and help execute the firm's ambitious growth strategy. This is an ideal opportunity for a tax leader who combines strong technical expertise with a passion for people development, client relationships, and building a scalable advisory business.

What You'll Do

• Lead the overall strategy, performance, and growth of Siegfried Advisory's Tax Advisory Services practice.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to entrepreneurs, executives, family offices, and privately held businesses.
• Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing team of talented tax professionals while building the next generation of leaders.
• Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and exceptional client service.
• Drive operational excellence across client delivery, practice management, and team development.
• Partner with firm leadership to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships, and expand market presence.
• Manage practice economics, including profitability, utilization, pricing, and resource planning.
• Help shape the strategic direction of Siegfried Advisory as a member of the Leadership Team.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of progressive tax experience in public accounting, advisory, or professional services.
• Deep technical expertise across key tax areas, including partnerships, trusts, estates, and closely held business structures.
• Strong track record of delivering high-quality client service in a professional services environment.
• Proven leadership experience developing teams and managing client relationships.
• A passion for mentoring others and building a high-performance culture.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to advise senior executives and business owners.
• Resilience to operate in an ambiguous, dynamic environment.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in building and growing a practice, as well as commitment to Siegfried Advisory’s vision.
• Ability and willingness to work in our Philadelphia or Wilmington office as required for an average of four days per week (this requirement is subject to change at the discretion of management).
