The South Carolina-based tax professionals' career portal recently announced the completion of program hardware upgrades.
The company's actions fly in the face of conventional practice. Most sites wait until user-demand exceeds server capacity, and then upgrade. The result is, inevitably, a diminution of service for the user.
"Our investment in time, capital and personnel has been considerable," said TaxTalent.com Director, John ONeill. "Our audience of tax professionals is a demanding one, and we owe it to them to provide seamless service at all times."
TaxTalent.com's commitment to customer service is underlined by its employment of a full-time Network Administrator, Chris Clark.
"Having Chris in-house means that we can keep the site up and running at all times. We can also update the site content quickly and easily" said O'Neill.
The company plans to increase the number of services available to its users, particularly in the area of promoting diversity within the tax profession.
"We work closely with diversity organizations about how best to achieve our goals. Our recent upgrades will allow us to respond to perceived need quickly and flexibly," said O'Neill.
TaxTalent.com, founded in 1999 and based in South Carolina, was launched on February 9, 2001.
A content driven site, TaxTalent.com offers the tax professional a Salary Comparison, a Career Forum, providing access to a Career Coach with over 15 years experience in tax careers, and a Tax Training Events database, a constantly updated listing of US tax-oriented training event.
The site also hosts a Diversity Forum, the goal of which is to increase the number of individuals from under-represented groups who choose to pursue a career in taxation.
