The site launched from scratch in February 2001. It has mounted an intensive publicity campaign in both traditional and online media. Major growth, however, appears to have been fueled by word-of-mouth.

The word is spreading amongst Tax Professionals that our content is reliable, relevant, and current, said O'Neill.

We also have a high usability factor. We brought in groups of users, and watched their reactions to a prototype site. We collected feedback, and modified the site accordingly. This continues to be our ongoing process collect feedback and modify to benefit the user.
