Senior Tax Accountant – Income Tax Accounting

Join a company that is building a Best Practices Tax Department! With their new tax management team in place and a commitment to build a best practices tax department, our client has begun the process of bringing all of the outsourced tax functions in house. They are now looking to fill one of their last critical roles in the Tax Accounting area!

The successful candidate will support the Director and Senior Manager in all phases of income tax accounting (FAS 109) including SEC reporting, accounting research, and deferred taxes.  This position will interact with other disciplines of tax (Federal, International, & State & Local) and with other functional areas of accounting and finance.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting; advanced degree preferred
• CPA preferred
• 4 – 6 years overall tax experience in public accounting or corporate experience; 2 – 3 years income tax accounting (FAS 109, FIN 48, etc.) and compliance experience
• Experience with Tax Stream or other tax accounting software preferred
• Team player, energetic, ambitious, strong interpersonal and communication skills
