Tate & Lyle, a UK owned, publicly traded global company with US headquarters in Decatur, IL is seeking an Income Tax Manager.  Our 10-person tax department oversees the tax function for over 60% of our global profits and 80% of the effective tax rate.

This position manages 2 professional staff responsible for the income tax compliance for domestic federal and state incomes and franchise taxes, tax accounting including FAS109 and FIN 48 year-end and quarterly reporting, state tax audits, and providing support for the federal tax audits.

Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’ degree in accounting or business; graduate degree a plus
• CPA required
• 5 – 10 years combined experience in corporate federal and state income tax compliance
• Self starter, highly motivated, dependable, excellent communications, organization and documentation skills. Detail oriented and able to meet deadlines. Ability to interface with people at all levels.
• Strong computer skills that include Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.  CorpTax experience a plus.
