We have been retained exclusively by our client, a leader in the medical device industry, on a critical leadership hire in their transfer pricing function. This individual will lead the day-to-day management of the transfer pricing function, including serving as the point person on transfer pricing policy, operations, controversy, and planning, in addition to supporting the Senior Director Transfer Pricing on strategic matters.
The ideal candidate will value the following:

Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overseeing the Transfer Pricing team’s management of BD’s global transfer pricing policies, compliance, audits, provision, and planning.
- Act as a key contributor to the Company’s Finance, Tax, operational, and other initiatives by providing support, financial analysis, and management on all transfer pricing matters.
- Collaborate closely with other members of the Tax Department and BD’s finance and operations partners.
- Improve tax processes and controls, eliminating manual work and improving efficiencies where possible, including the implementation of technology tools.
Candidate Profile:
- Extensive transfer pricing experience in a large, complex multinational company or in a professional services environment working with similar clients.
- Broad transfer pricing technical experience, including background in transfer pricing operations, planning, documentation, and controversy.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to self-direct and effectively organize and prioritize under tight deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills are required, particularly the ability to explain complex tax strategies and concepts to non-tax professionals at very senior levels.
- Strong leadership and project management skills are required.
