Time To Strategize

While many companies are temporarily putting a hold on hiring and implementing cost cutting measures due to COVID 19, we all know that the workload for tax isn’t going anywhere.  In fact, it may rather be increasing in light of recent legislation and companies reassessing their business strategy moving forward.  

In this new and rapidly changing environment, tax leaders will need to have a fully supported and dynamic tax team capable of creating value and reducing risk so the ability to identify, hire and retain top performers will be more critical than ever. With this in mind, I have created a series of articles on Strategic Hiring. I last left off discussing how to lay the groundwork and assess your department in our last article, “Setting the Stage for Strategic Hiring” and will now introduce the most common scenarios tax leaders will face when hiring in Strategic Hiring - An Introduction.
